Mental Workouts!


Hello!
Once more, I felt relaxed in doing this exercise! It gave me time to think and focus on a family member who is currently in the hospital so therefore, I found it beneficial. I would recommend all the exercises within this class thus far as they require devoting time each day for practice similar to physical exercise plus with its own rewards; development of a better mental clarity. And so, I plan to implement these mental workouts into my daily schedule by devoting 15 minutes each morning for practice.

    How have you mental workouts been going? Have you been able to devote 15 minutes each morning for practice? I know I had intended to add it several days a week, I was not able to commit to everyday. If I practice it 4 times a week I am doing goo. So far I have been able to do it twice this week. Today being Sunday, I get to try again to meet my goal.

    I hope these workout are going well for you! I really enjoyed this exercise as well, it really helped me flush out some of the negativity I have had in my life and really helped me relax. I did some mental exercising before my long shift yesterday, it is uncanny how well it worked. I hope your loved one you have in the hospital is doing ok. Good luck to you michlle I hope these workouts are what your life needs. I know they sure have benefitted mine!

  3. Hi Michelle, I too found this excercise most beneficial, I have prayed for my loved ones through there times of need as well as for others who I do not know for their needs. This excercise made me focus more on their sufferings as well as get a better understanding of those who need are good thoughts, and wishing them overall well being. I think we all have a tendency to only think of our loved ones when wishing the best for them, and through this excercise it made me think of others more. Good Post!

  4. Hi, Michelle. I found this exercise relaxing, also. However, I do not
    care for GUIDED meditation as much as just going with the flow of those
    that are not guided. Like you, I also sent my healing and positive energy
    out to someone in the hospital. I would also recommend these exercises
    to others. They are very relaxing and many people actually prefer guided
    meditation. So, for those people, these exercises would be wonderful. :)
